Who is it Leon Gittens, originally from the UK, came to the US as a basketball player, but soon after returned to his true love, the arts. Leon really began at the basics teaching himself to use Photoshop, Painter and dabbling in photography. But, animation was always his calling. He attended a few art and animation schools before finally getting a break at the facial animation company, Image Metrics. He then bounced about Toonbox Studios, Reel FX and Sony. Why should you listen Leon is a self-taught + self-made animator living in the US who experiments with variety of media. He's been in the industry for 20+ years, and has worked on the Spiderman PS4 game, and was the facial animator on A Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He now resides at Insomniac Games. When he's not busy keeping his kids alive, he's working on his illustrated T-shirt brand and finishing his scripts for his own TV show. |
