Who is it Joel is a 3D character artist and self-taught illustrator from Puerto Rico with a passion towards fiction, horror and fantasy currently working for a small local studio making VR games. Some of his favourite movies are: Gremlins, The Frighteners, Paranorma and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. About Joel Morán
Joel is a 3D character artist and self-taught illustrator from Puerto Rico with a passion towards fiction, horror and fantasy currently working for a small local studio making VR games. Some of his favourite movies are: Gremlins, The Frighteners, Paranorma and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs.

Joel has always wanted to get involved in the industry, but that didn't happen until about 3 years ago due to real life events which influenced his decision to follow his dreams.
He started just like everyone else with the basics, but also practicing and studying nonstop. It began with real clay and then Maya, extending his knowledge to almost every other software. Joel never thought he could make a living out of his art, but look at him now proving himself wrong.
